Q) How do I identify the product with no model # on it?
A) Most of our model #’s for your speakers start with “CA” then have a 4 digit # afterwards. Examples: CA 2014 (2-piece) or CA 3602 (3-piece) and can be found on the following: Retail Packaging, Proof of Purchase (Receipt), Manual or possibly on the product itself. If not, then please go to our website at: www.cyberacoustics.com and when it opens do a search under “Speakers”. If you don’t find it there you can send us a picture to: info@cyberacoustics.com to help further.
Q) No directions on where to plug speakers into computer?
A) Most computers will have a sound out or headphone jack either in the back or front of the computer. It is usually color coded (green) to match to our source plug (green). If you have a laptop you can plug directly into the headphone set jack for sound on the side or in back.
Q) Where is the disk to install for audio drivers to make them work?
A) If you have purchased a surround sound system, your computer must have a surround sound card installed. If you don’t know what you have, consult you manual or contact your computer manufacture.
We do not provide any software drivers for our speakers. Your computer should already have the drivers installed for easy plug in response. Check regularly for current system updates if needed or contact your computer manufacture for more help.
Q) How far do I need to have my sub woofer away from my computer for shielding?
A) As a general rule we suggest keeping the subwoofer 1 ft away.
Q) Are they compatible with all the current window programs?
A) Yes and your system should already have the audio drivers installed to plug and play. Please make sure your system updates are current.
Q) I don't have any audio coming out of my speakers, but the power light is on.
A) Make sure your audio settings are properly configured and selected for your default thru your sound settings window. Check to make sure your volumes are up and nothing is muted. If that does not work make sure you don’t have anything plugged into your aux input or headphone set jack on the speaker control pod that will mute your sound. A good test is to plug the speakers into another audio source with a headset jack, like a cell phone. If the speakers work, then the issue is with your computer. Please contact your computer manufacture.
Q) There is a slight hum coming from my speaker while no music is playing.
A) Make sure your audio settings are properly configured through your operating system. With some sound cards or audio systems, volume levels are set to the highest position and can cause a hum or distorted sound. You sound audio setting should be set at 65/75. To find out how to change your operating system's audio settings, refer to your operating system's manual or how-to section.
Q) How do I get USB speakers to work on an Apple Computer?
A) Setting up a USB speaker or headset on an Apple computer is very easily done. First, plug your USB device into any open USB input on your computer. Next, go into your computer’s System Preferences that are usually located right in the system’s dock.
Here, there will be a Sound category you can choose that will give you the option to change which devices you can use for audio output and input. Simply select the USB device in each category and your headset or speaker should work fine.
If for some reason the USB input does not read the device, try using another USB input.
Q) Our packaging does not list the adapter voltage or on the website

A) Most of our model #’s for your headset will start with “A/C” then have a 3 digit # afterwards. Q) Where do I plug both jacks (pink/green) into on the back of the computer when my speakers are already using the green jack?
A) Check to see if you have both a headphone jack and a microphone jack in the front of the computer to plug into. If so, then make sure your settings in the sound window are selected for the front devices to work. If not, then you will have to go to the back of your computer and plug in the microphone and headphone there. You consider buying a splitter for the sound out jack (green) so you can keep both your speakers and headphone plugged in at the same time. Remember if you use a splitter, both devices will play at the same time.
Q) How do you get the analog mic to work on a Mac?
A) You may need to refer to your owners manual or contact Apple to find out if your Apple device can support an analog mic. We have found that most Mac systems require a specific microphone connection that might not work with analog microphones. That is why we suggest using our USB headsets instead which are easy to plug in and use as long as you select the USB device listed under sound and system preferences.
